Some overall questions about your services

Hi there,

Dandanfirema responded to a request I made at the webhostingtalk forums, so I checked out your site.

First of all, I want to say that your statement "We are founded on the principals of integrity, honesty and value" peaked my interest. Those have been some of the most important qualities in a hosting service I've been searching for, and the fact you post that upfront is nice.

A few questions I didn't see answers to on your site or in the response to my request, specifically related to the CPanel 4 and 5 packages...

What FTP services are offered?

What is the price for multiple domain registration?

The offer I was sent referred to 4GB storage, though the largest package onsite is 3GB storage... was this a typo? I would have asked this privately, but no direct email address was listed in the response.

How are you able to offer such large storage and bandwidth for the prices offered?

The forum appears to be new... how long has alphaomega been in business? How large is the client base?

What do you offer as far as CGI, PHP, Perl, Python, etc.?

Are there any server restrictions? (access, file types, bbs, mail list, chat, etc)

Well, I don't want to ask a hundred questions here... I would appreciate any detailed information available on your services.

FTP services are offered with every account. There is no restriction on the number of users. We strongly recommend against using anonymous ftp and will work diligently with you to find an alternate solution due to the inherent security issues associated with it.

What is the price for multiple domain registration?
We do not charge a per domain cost for registering additional domains with the Cpanel plans. The only cost associated are those that are associated with domain registration from a domain registrar such as the one we offer on our site, NetSol, GoDaddy, etc.

You were offered a custom plan. Sign up for the one that matches in cost and we will adjust the details to match what we offered you.

Not sure how to answer this.....we try to offer a good product at a fair price.

The forum has been up for about a week. It was added at the suggestion of one of our users. We have been offering web hosting services to customers since 1998 with gahost.com and have within the last 6 months started offering web hosting services under alphaomegahosting.com becuase the previous name did not properly reflect our geographical focus...or lack there of.

What do you offer as far as CGI, PHP, Perl, Python, etc.?

We allow all of the items you mentioned. If you are looking for something in particular please let me know and I will verify that it is installed or look into the possibility of installing it.

Are there any server restrictions? (access, file types, bbs, mail list, chat, etc)

We have standard restrictions that you will find with most industry hosts. No spam, no porn, no chat bots, no warez, no copywritten material that you dont own or license for distribution...etc.
