Hey saw the pilot episodes of Magnum P.I. today, didn't realise that it was set in Hawaii. Although its been a long time since I've seen an episode so it's probably fair to say that I had forgotten :D

Is it still used quite a lot by the Navy?

I presume you mean Hawaii. Yes. Navy has a fairly sizeable presence here.
