Now that CPanel 5 can have real email addresses for add-on domains (as opposed to sending them to a catch-all account at the main domain account) what is the proper way to set up email accounts for add-on domains in one's email client? I'm having a little problem in that area if you haven't guessed. ;)
OK, main domain account email would be (assuming threestooges.com is the main domain with moe as a user and curlysweb.com is an addon with curly as a user):
host name: mail.threestooges.com
user name: moe@threestooges.com
smtp host: mail.threestooges.com
smtp user: moe@threestooges.com
Then would the addon be:
hostname: mail.threestooges.com
username: curly@curlysweb.com
smtp host: mail.threestooges.com
smtp user: curly@curlysweb.com
?
And what if Larry doesn't have an email account at curlysweb.com, but someone sends an email to larry@curlysweb.com. Would it end up at curly@curlysweb.com or would it end up at moe@threestooges.com? (assuming moe@threestooges.com is the designated catch-all).
