Hey! I am trying to setup some email accounts through my CP.

I got the accounts setup... but when I try to use NeoMail, it says this: "Notes: Openwebmail has been removed due a bug in the way it handles messages."

So, instead (and what I preferably want to do), I tried to make it so that I could check it through Outlook Express. However, when it prompts me for my password, it keeps on saying that it's wrong - even though it's right. So, what's going on? I do NOT want to do email forwarding either - so please don't suggest that.

Thanks in advance - I hope you understand what I'm saying/asking/etc.

Please ensure you are using a username something like bob@mydomain.com rather than just bob.

Well, even then... how come I can't receive messages through my NeoMail inbox?

Anyhow, I want to make all my emails be checkable through Outlook Express. I add them to the registry and everything, and when it prompts me for my info, I put the following:
webmaster@ffxi.org
password

However, even though I put in the right information, it doesn't work. I even tried using webmaster+ffxi.org and webmaster%ffxi.org. So... now what? :p

I just figured it out. I got so excited last night that I forgot to think logically. In order for the Email to work properly, the DNS must be in effect :p

I guess I was just really in anticipation, and didn't realize it. Lol, oh well, at least it should work now (when the DNS does).

:)

Yes, so am I... so am I :)

Actually, it turns out that the real problem was due to my stupid ISP not recognizing my site's new nameservers/hosting information. However, you already knew that Danny, because you are the one who helped me force it to work through the DOS Command Prompt - thanks!

Oh, and incase you're wondering... I commented the forced IP's out yesterday... and my site is still working. So, my ISP finally got smart I guess :p

Excellent! I figured it would just be a matter of a little patience and their DNS entries would expire. I am glad it is working.
