I'm looking into ways to setup a billing system for my site, so we will have the option to charge for certain services in the future. I doubt I'll have a hard time finding a good billing manager that will handle monthly/yearly/whatever invoices for me and track everything, but I'd still appreciate (cheap but good) suggestions. Also, how can I (cheaply/freely) accept credit card payments online?
Thanks :P

We use http://www.modernbill.com for our billing system. As far as cheaply accepting cards, I would look into 2checkout, revecom or Ibill.

It is compatible with a number of gateways including authorize.net, 2checkout, worldpay, etc.

Rodzilla - you might want to check out PerlBill (http://www.perlbill.com) also. I use it and thank its great. PerlBill also has support for gateways including authorize.net, 2checkout, worldpay, and paypal.
Even better part....its cheaper then ModernBill

As added info about perlbill, it is written by the same people that wrote Perldesk which is what we use for our helpdesk. The guy that writes it is a really nice guy, very helpful.

The mere thought of the word Perl makes me cringe... but I'll take a look ;)
