Ok, I am kind of mad now. Go to http://www.ffxi.org - it works for everyone else, but not me. However, I registered http://www.jedkent.com and it works fine, so I don't see what's going on.

However, this isn't even what I'm mad about. One of my friends told me that when they went to http://www.ffxi.org it came RIGHT up to my root directory, and they were able to navigate my whole site. So, I had to upload an index.html, so that it wouldn't show everything off to the public. Why did it do this? I don't like people being able to access my directories like that.

Also, My FTP is messed up Danny. My friend says that he can access his multiple domains all through ONE FTP connection. All he does is click on which folder url he wants to upload to, and that's that. This way he doesn't have to relogin all the time, with different names, etc.

I dunno, I am really confused and frustrated right now. I don't like the fact that EVERYTHING at http://www.ffxi.org has been showing up as a directory for the last... who knows how long. Now I bet a ton of people have seen my stuff, and I don't like that. Plus, I don't understand why it isn't showing up for me. I modified it before I even registered jedkent.com, but jedkent.com shows up and ffxi.org doesn't. Hell, if you go to http://www.jedkent.com right now, it goes right into my directory again. Grr!

Sorry, I had to vent out my anger. Where is LiveHelp when you actually need it?

u might wanna see in the root dir if there is a .htaccess file, try to delete it then upload the index file

I know you only see "blah" - that's because I HAD to upload an index.html in order for the WHOLE ROOT DIRECTORY not to show up for everyone to see. Ugh.

However, http://www.ffxi.org doesn't even work for me! I get a 404 File Not Found error. The only way I can view my site is through my IP, and it's making me frustrated.

Plus, I don't get it... because http://www.ffxi.org/forums is STILL showing up for me, and that was all uploaded on my OLD host about 2 days ago. I don't know what's going on. I have cleared my cache and everything.

No, I don't use that anymore - I formatted my computer, and don't wanna waste the space on getting Yahoo Messanger again. Do you have AIM? If not, you should get it :p

Anyhow, I guess all I can do is wait for Danny. Something is either up with my computer, or up with AOH, or up with Verizon DSL, or something. The sad part is that when I called Verizon, they had no clue what I was talking about when I brought up DNS and such. Tsk tsk.

But see, that's the weird thing - they BOTH work for me. I think that something strange is going on... where it's blocking the actual site designers from viewing their own domain. Lol O_o

Yeah, I guess so... but I'm not very patient about this kind of stuff. I wish that there were more Support workers besides Danny... so that at least ONE person could be on at all times. That would be nice...
