Basically, I am hosting a couple movies on my site, and they are eating up way too much bandwidth. I really want to keep them up, but at anywhere from 10-30gb's a day, I can't.

So, I am hoping that someone knows of a place I can mirror my movies/etc in order for me to successfully keep them up.

Let me know of any possible places and/or solutions you can thank of.
-Thanks.

We worked out a system of file mirrors about 8 months ago and have been slowly building on it. We started with three mirrors, lost one, and have slowly worked our way up to six. The entire system is run on PHP/MySQL and we've worked hard to establish relationships with all of our six full-time mirrors. I personally can't wait until we have 100 ;)

You can find a list of the full-time mirrors we have on any file download page. Some pages may list additional mirrors as well, as our system allows additional mirrors to be posted for certain files, as inevitably there will be additional sites that will mirror major files.

So go ahead and see what you can do with some of those, but keep in mind it took us 8 months to build this up and we had a bit of leverage as we're the biggest Serious Sam fansite there is and we also host all of Croteam's files...AFAIK FileFront and eDome shouldn't be that hard, as they were our first two. I'm fairly sure FileFront even has a page asking for people to use up their space and bandwidth ;)

If you're interested, I'd be willing to work out a deal for you to use the back-end we use on http://files.seriouszone.com. Just let me know if you'd like more information about it.

I'm very interested in whatever space you can offer me. I only have 3 movies I need hosted... but they get a lot of downloads, so... it's up to you.

I am not sure how all of this works, but am indeed interested. Perhaps you have AIM or ICQ? It would be a lot easier to be able to talk to you on there.

More information would be great.
Thanks a lot,

My ICQ UIN is 34206559

I think you misunderstood me though. I'm saying that you can contact the file mirrors we have and try to get your own space with them to use. After doing that, if you want, you could then use a copy of our file system, which automatically handles the mirroring of files to multiple mirrors, download counts, etc, on its own.

Yeah, I had tried posting a second message earlier, and actually did... but I guess it must have been deleted.

Anyhow, I understand what you're saying. However, hopefully (since you have relations with the people who mirror your files) you can help me get in contact with them and help my chances of getting them to mirror a few of my files for me.

I dunno... I will talk to you on ICQ.
