reseller/sub domain question

Hi,

I already have one domain www.maihoatrang.com, what happen if I create another package that have the same domain? will there be any conflict?

I know that i can create a new package with domain something like: games.maihoatrang.com but it seems it doesn't work properly, i can access it but some time it point to www.games.maihoatrang.com instead

Well, i should submit a support ticket but this issue is not urgent for me and i think it might be usefull for others (if they have the same problem), so thats y i post here ;)

You cannot create 2 accounts with the same domain name. The control panel will not allow it. What are you trying to accomplish in doing so?

oh ok, i got it now, but i have created a package with this domain: games.maihoatrang.com but it always point to www.games.maihoatrang.com :( but some times it works, so i don't know whats happening :(

Well, you have to put what you are trying to do in perspective to what normally occurs.

Lets say you use WHM to create an account named bob.com

So, when you fill out the form to create the account you enter

bob.com

Now, you would naturally expect both

http://bob.com and http://www.bob.com to work in a browser, right?

Now substitute games.maihoatrang.com for bob. That means you get both

http://games.maihoatrang.com and http://www.games.maihoatrang.com




HOWEVER, I have modified the configuration and have deleted the references to www.games.maihoatrang.com.

yup, thats what i want, i want to be able to create a new account which use a sub domain of other account

so with WHM i have

+ one account maihoatrang.com

and now i want to create a new account games.maihoatrang.com ;)
