Site Down... Again...

What's going on Danny? My site has been down for almost an hour now!

This is about the 3rd time since I signed up (which was only about a week ago), and it's getting kind of old. I need to be able to rely on your hosting so that my visitors can rely on my site. Right?

I submitted a support ticket as well... we'll just see what happens I guess. But umm, please let me know what's going on, and what you plan on doing in the future to prevent this from happening again.

The problem has been resolved. The problem was with apache only. It appears apache, for some reason that we are investigating, may have had too many files open at one time. This is believed to be a bug in apache, especially since you are almost the only user on this server. The sources I have discussed it with have only seen this problem one other time and the problem never reoccured. I do not believe this problem will reoccur.

Regarding your other network outages. While I realize that from your perspective, down is down, however, this problem was of a very different nature than the previous issue.

I appologize for the downtime that you experienced today. In the future, please notify us as soon as you experience any issue with your account. Any amount of downtime is unacceptable and we will work to keep it to a minimum.

Yep, that's the exact message I got. QUICKLY after the problem initiated I might add.

Anyhow, I just came back to this thread to clear everything up, and to let you all know that everything is working fine again, and that the support responded very fast.
