How do you automate entry into email without using cpanel? User wants her daughter to check her (daughter's) webmail, but doesn't want to share cpanel password.

I think that, if the dns is not propagated, you will not receive any e-mail. It will still go to the old host.

Nedani is right. The mailservers run on the same dns rules that the site does, so until propogation is complete, you won't be seeing any email show up on that server.
