Might be time to wait...................
Why would this address:
http://66.96.211.34/~leanne
produce this display:
http://www.homeatlastfarms.net/images/SP32-20030228-225808.gif
While this address:
http://pigs-etc.com
produce this display:
http://www.homeatlastfarms.net/images/SP32-20030301-114608.gif
The customer is adding the counter script from cpanel. Why would this difference exist??
The dns records at the registrar has been recently changed, but I find a good "A" record.

Its not really a DNS thing, the counter script is just buggy.
Oh, and I fixed it for you ;)

Was the bug in the generated script, or her adding the script?
I appreciate that. That is service above and beyond.
But, just before I read this thread, I ran this:
DNS Lookup: pigs-etc.com A record
Generated by www.DNSstuff.com
How I am searching:
Searching for A record for pigs-etc.com at k.root-servers.net: Got referral to c.gtld-servers.net. [took 187 ms]
Searching for A record for pigs-etc.com at c.gtld-servers.net.: Got referral to NS2.HOMEATLASTFARMS.NET. [took 62 ms]
Searching for A record for pigs-etc.com at NS2.HOMEATLASTFARMS.NET.: Error: Couldn't resolve DNS server name/IP [ns2.homeatlastfarms.net][11001].
Answer:
An error occurred: Couldn't resolve DNS server name/IP [ns2.homeatlastfarms.net][11001].
Details:
I could not get to the nameserver authoritative for pigs-etc.com. Sorry!
Should this make me think there is a problem?

No, it has nothing to do with dns. It is a problem because the webserver (user nobody) added the counter file. Then when you load the page, the user herself is trying to change the file. It is essentially a permissions/ownership problem.

OK. Thanks! :)
But what's bugging the stuffing out of me is that there is no reason I can see why ns2.homeatlastfarms.net will not resolve!!
They both resolve properly when ran as ns1.homeatlastfarms.net or ns2.homeatlastfarms.net, but when running pigs-etc.com, it says that it can't find authoritative nameserver.
If I'm being dense here, (not unheard-of) just take a deep breath and wait till Monday.

You know, {said whimsically} there sure is a lot of things that I don't know. I understood Novell's elevator seeking and nic table. I understood arcnet and tokenring packet switching schemes, but the DNS system is pretty new to me.
Thanks, Again !!

We recently shifted servers for www.drugdelivery.ca and were PR 4 ranking on Google till about 2 days back when suddenly because of the shift, all listings disappeared from Google. We suspect its a dns problem but would like expert opinion on this please, there might be a reason why Google or maybe anybody else cant access/reach the url now. The report can be viewed at http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=drugdelivery.ca
It also says Missing (stealth) nameservers, could that be the reason?
Thank you!
