Hi everyone,
I've decided I want to switch to a different domain name. After I purchase the domain name, how do I go about transferring it to my existing account at alphaomega? I already have a hosting account for a different domain name at alphaomega and want to replace it with my new domain name.
Is this even possible?
Thanks!!

Hi Marcia.
If you like, you can purchase your domain here (www.alphaomegahosting.com/billing/domains).
Now, if I understand correctly, you want to move the data from your existing domain to the new name. Is this correct? If so, it's a relatively simply process. You'll want to backup all your existing data, let us know when that's done and we'll recreate your account with the new domain name, and then you can upload your data back to where it goes. Unfortuneately, we are unable to simply change the domain name on your account and actually have to delete it and recreate it to accomplish what you're wanting to do, but it can be done.

Thank you so much Gnomercy! That's exactly what I want to do.
Is there an email address, where I can email you to let you know when I want it moved?
Thanks again!

Actually, if you don't mind, please submit a helpdesk ticket for this here (http://www.alphaomegahosting.com/cgi-bin/pdesk.cgi) when you're ready so either Danny or I can handle this and reply when everything is complete.
