The May 2003 Virus Bulletin rates antivirus [AV] programs for use on Linux machines.

It's interesting that the grossly overpriced Sophos, as well as some other highly touted AV programs such as Kaspersky & F-secure, FAILED on Linux machines.
Linux is not so often targeted by malware as is Windoze. However, an AV program written for Linux makes sense. Why? Because Linux machines are most often used as servers - mail servers, proxy servers, web servers, file servers, firewalls etc. -- all of which are crucial points in the *health* of the internet.
