It seems that one of the most common issues we are seeing with email problems is with customers have trouble sending email out through our servers. There are certainly some possibilities of server problems and configuration problems associated with this issue, but we are finding a different culprit often. It seems that many ISPs are blocking port 25. This would prevent their users from sending email through any server other than their own mail servers. This problem would effect our customers as well as the customers of any other hosting company. The companies that we know of that are doing this are:
Earthlink (Mindspring)
MSN
Alltel High Speed
Cox.net (Cable)
Sympatico.ca (Not Confirmed)
It is our sincerest appologies to the customers of these ISP's, but the best course of action is to make compaints with the ISP's themselves.
