View Full Version : request for cpanel's sslinstall module or other suggestions
I would like to request the installation/activation of CPanel's ssinstall module so that I can generate/manage/etc certificates and keys and whatnot.
if that's too expensive/not feasible..
could I get some guidance on generating my keys, creating a certificate, and then once my applications been processed, what to do from there to get
https calls to work from my domain? (ourspot.net)
am i missing a step or two in the process?

To be perfectly honest, we don't use the cpanel/whm "automated" installation method. We us the WHM Generate and Install keys to process manually purchased certificates. We will be happy to assist you with this process. If you have a reseller account, we can activate this option for you, however, if you have never done it, I would recommend some assistance as mistakes can cost you the price of a certificate....they usually don't give refunds.

I've started WHM and no longer see the choices for
"Generate Certificate Signing Request"
or
"Install Certificate"
I thought they used to be there, (last year when I did this renewal thing) but I might be geezing...again.
Is now the time to open ticket?

For everyone else reading this, the answer would be yes, please open a ticket and ask for SSL privs. For you, its done. Check WHM again.

A simple "control refresh" and there it is.
The service here is beyond great. I'd call it "exemplary"!!
Thanks!!!
